Concord's defensive effort held BSC to just 25 percent shooting in the first half.

A free throw by junior forward Heather Chapman extended Concord's lead to 25 with four minutes remaining in the third quarter.

Back to back three-pointers by BSC's Maggie Tien cut Concord's lead to 19, but four free throws and a layup by freshman forward Madison May helped Concord take the lead back to 22 at the end of the third quarter.
