ATHENS, W.Va - The Concord University men's soccer team will face Urbana in Athens before traveling to Shepherdstown Sunday to play Shepherd in two Mountain East Conference matchups.

Concord is 4-6 (2-5 MEC) on the year.
Urbana stands at 7-2-1 (5-2 MEC), while Shepherd is 1-9 on the year (0-6 MEC).
Freshman forward
Sam Ashton continued his strong start to the season, notching a goal on the road in Concord's matchup against West Virginia Wesleyan.
The goal was Ashton's fifth of the season, putting the Hampshire, England native in a tie for fifth in the MEC in goal scored.
In addition to scoring, Ashton has provided one assist.
Also with Ashton in points is junior midfielder
Max Simpson, who has scored three goals and served three assists for Concord.
Concord has continued to score goals this season, with 17 goals through 10 games, an average of 1.7 goals per game.
Last season, the Mountain Lions had scored six goals through 10 games.
Half of Concord's attempts have been on target this season.
Concord's goals have been spread evenly, with seven goals coming in the first half, eight in the second half, and one goal in each overtime period.

SCOUTING URBANA
The Blue Knights are currently on a four-game winning streak.
Three of those wins the Blue Knights did not concede a goal.
UU's last result was a 2-1 win over league-leading Notre Dame College. The win for the Blue Knights creates a three-way tie at the summit of the MEC standings, as Charleston, Urbana, and Notre Dame each have 15 points.
Thibaut Borrier has scored six times for UU, Raphael Northoff and Lewis Dunne have scored four times each.
SCOUTING SHEPHERD
The Rams have lost five in a row, but scored twice in their most recent defeat to the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
After not scoring for its first four contests, Shepherd has netted eight times in its past six games.
Justin Poole leads the Rams with two goals.
