TIFFIN, Ohio- The Concord University women's soccer team fell 2-1 on the road at Tiffin in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday afternoon.
The Mountain Lions fall to 3-8-4, while Tiffin improves to 3-12 on the season.
Concord started the game on a good note at the 23:09 mark after sophomore forward
Pilar Elias netted her fourth goal of the season from a pass and lobbing a shot at the near post past Tiffin goalkeeper Jennifer Sandberg.
Megan Walsh provided the assist for Elias on the play. The shot was the first of the game for Concord.
The Mountain Lions looked to add to their lead as junior defender
Carley Graves fired a shot that forced Sandberg into a save just three minutes later.
The Dragons would equalize right before halftime at the 35:22 mark after Svetlana Gudenkova converted a cross from Adrianna Currie.

The start of the second half saw Graves once again test Sandberg in the 52
nd minute, but was saved again by Sandberg.
The Mountain Lions forced Sandberg into three more saves over the next 38 minutes, with shots from junior defender
Sarah Akers (58'), Provencher (59'), and Walsh (71').

Kaylee Taylor was called into action multiple times in the second half, making four saves to help send the game into overtime.
The Dragons, however, ended the game just 53 seconds into the extra session after placing a shot off the post and into the goal.
Concord returns to Mountain East Conference action on Sunday when it travels to Charleston for a 2 p.m. kickoff.
