Box Score CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Concord University men's soccer team fell 3-0 to the University of Charleston at the Schoenbaum Soccer Complex Thursday night in Mountain East Conference competition.
Charleston entered the game ranked number one in the nation by the National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) Poll.
CU falls to 2-4 this season while the Golden Eagles improve to 6-0.
Charleston netted three first-half goals to put the Mountain Lions in a 3-0 hole as Felipe Antonio scored all three goals for UC.

Logan Powell, who was making his first start in net this season, made six saves for the Mountain Lions.

Adam Carnwath and senior midfielder
Joe Sweet had Concord's two shots on goal.
UC outshot CU 21-9 and 9-2 in shots on goal. The Golden Eagles also took more corner kicks, 8-1.
Concord hosts Chowan in non-conference action 12:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Anderson Field.
