ATHENS, W.Va- The Concord University Women's basketball team fell 103-76 to the visiting Glenville State Pioneers on Thursday evening at the Carter Center in Mountain East Conference play.
Concord falls to 2-4 on the season (1-2 MEC), while Glenville State improves to 5-2 overall and 3-0 in MEC play.Â
Concord kept the score close early on, trailing the Pioneers 10-8 with 6:41 left in the first quarter. However, GSC used a 28-13 run to close out the first quarter to create some separation between the two teams. CU was efficient from the field, shooting 43.2 percent from the field to Pioneers' 42.0 percent.

Sophomore guard
Lindsey Overbey led the Mountain Lions in scoring, netting a career-high 19 points, which was also game-high on 9-for-16 shooting. She also added five rebounds, one block, and one steal. Junior guard
Alexis Lowery added seven points and seven assists.Â

Kylie Molisee and sophomore guard
Danielle Catron each had 12 points for the Mountain Lions, while
Emily Boothe added 11 points. Freshman forward
Courtney White was 2 of 2 from the field, and also pulled down a team-high seven rebounds in just 12 minutes of action.Â
Junior guard
Olivia Morgan also recorded a game-high seven steals.  Â
The Mountain Lions had 27 assists on 35 made field goals. Along with Lowery's seven assists, Morgan had five assists while Catron tallied four helpers.

Concord will continue its home stand when they host West Virginia Wesleyan at 2:00 p.m. at the Carter Center. Â
