MOUNTAIN LION NOTES- Concord is coming off of a victory at home vs. Bluefield State on Wednesday by a score of 65-49
- Sophomore guard Danielle Catron poured in a career-high 19 points on 9-17 shooting. Junior guard Alexis Lowery added 11 points off of the bench.
- Concord forced 33 turnovers from Bluefield State, scoring 29 points off of those turnovers.
- Concord used a second-half surge to help defeat the Lady Blues.
- Concord led the Lady Blues by just one at the half, but outscored Bluefield State 24-17 in the third and 17-9 in the fourth to seal the victory for the Mountain Lions.
- Concord also shot 45.5 percent in the second half compared to just 20.5 percent in the first half.
- Concord's bench play was instrumental in the team's win over Bluefield State on Wednesday.
- Concord's bench outscored the Lady Blues 20-7, and were led by Lowery, who added 11 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 20 minutes of action.
- Lowery's previous career-high was three points, and the 20 minutes was also a career high.
- Sophomore guard Lindsey Overbey contributed five points, and freshman forward Jenna Holton added four points for the Mountain Lions.
- Junior guard Olivia Morgan has filled the box score numerous times this season in different statistical categories.
- The junior guard has scored 16 points, 10 assists, four steals, and one block this season through three games, including an eight assist effort against Bluefield State.
- Morgan is also shooting 100 percent from the free throw line as she has connected on all four of her free throw attempts this season.
- Morgan currently leads the Mountain Lions in assists, is second in rebounding, and is second in blocked shots.

The Yellow Jackets have the best 3-point defense in the MEC, allowing their opponents to shoot 22 percent behind the arc.
Scouting CharlestonChyress Lockhart currently leads the MEC in scoring with 21.7 points per game.
She is sixth in assists with 4.6 assists per game, and is fourth in field goal percentage at 57.6 percent.
The Golden Eagles are 2-1 on the season, defeating Clarion and Malone and falling to Edinboro. Moneet Saunders is averaging 14.7 ppg while shooting 53.3 percent from the field.
