SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The Concord University women's soccer team lost 4-0 to Notre Dame Wednesday afternoon in Mountain East Conference play.
The Falcons (12-4-1, 11-3-1 MEC) scored two goals in each half to down CU (5-8-4, 4-8-3 MEC).
The game was scoreless until the 42
nd minute when NDC was able to curl a goal in from a corner kick and scored 90 seconds later before the end of the half.

Kaylee Taylor made six saves while fellow freshman goalkeeper
Emily Simpkins made four saves in the second half.
The Mountain Lions managed four shots for the game with two shots coming from senior forward
Kari Simon while sophomore midfielder
Sarah Akers and junior back
Olivia Reilly each had one.
Reilly tallied CU's lone shot on goal.
NDC had 21 shots to Concord's four and also held an edge in corner kicks 7-1.
The loss Wednesday afternoon eliminates Concord from MEC postseason consideration.
The Mountain Lions conclude their season 1:00 p.m. Saturday at West Liberty.
