WHEELING, W.Va. – The Concord University volleyball team lost a road match against Wheeling Jesuit Thursday night at the McDonough Center in Mountain East Conference action.
Concord (2-17, 1-2 MEC) fell in three sets (15-25, 14-25, 14-25) to the nationally-ranked Cardinals.
Freshman middle hitter
Brooke Heck led the Mountain Lions in kills with seven. Freshman outside hitter
Alexi Pranckus notched five kills while sophomore middle hitter
Alexis Elliott and sophomore outside hitter
Lisette Roldan added four kills each.
Freshman libero
Erin Shannon paced Concord with nine digs, and freshman setter
Jayden Jacobs led CU in assists with 10.
The Maroon and Gray starts a five-match home stand starting next Friday against West Virginia Wesleyan at 5:00 p.m.
