• UVa.-Wise is 1-14 overall and still in search of its first MEC win at 0-10.

• Glenville State has put together a record of 12-4 overall and 8-2 against league foes.

THE COACHES
• Kent McBride has compiled a record of 52-49 in four seasons at his alma mater.

• UVa.-Wise's Blake Mellinger is in the midst of his second season where he is 12-30.

• Stephen Dye is 62-93 in seven seasons at Glenville State.

MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
• The Mountain Lions have managed to win their last three games after they defeated West Virginia State 88-73 Saturday afternoon on the road.

• With the win, CU has now won three in a row, its longest winning streak since Feb. 9-18, 2013.

• In Concord's latest win at West Virginia State, junior forward Jametrius Wade joined some very exclusive company.

• Wade recorded a career-high 24 points and a personal-best 20 rebounds in the Mountain Lions' 15-point win.

• The Detroit, Michigan native became the second player in Mountain East Conference history to tally a 20-20 game.

• Furthermore, Wade was the first CU player to have a 20-20 game since before the 2000-01 season.

• For the year, Wade is averaging 12.4 points per game (ppg) and 8.6 rebounds per game (rpg).

• Wade's rpg is now second (8.6) in the MEC, trailing only West Virginia Wesleyan's Tanner McGrew.

• Entering games this weekend, senior guard Mike Boyd has dished out at least five assists in 10 straight games, the longest streak since Concord head coach Kent McBride dished five or more assists in seven straight games during the 2005-06 season.

• Boyd leads the MEC in assists per game (5.9).

• By handing out five assists against the Yellow Jackets, Boyd passed Randy Jennings for sixth all-time at Concord and now has 457 for his career.

• Also in the career book, junior forward Terry Hopewell needs two blocks to pass former Concord great and 2015 CU Hall of Fame Inductee Tyrone Anderson for eighth on the all-time list.

• Hopewell is second in the MEC this season in blocks (1.5 per game).

• Sophomore guard Aaron Miller continues to shred the nets with his sharp-shooting skills.

• Miller has recorded at least 10 points in all but one game this season.

• The Stephens City, Virginia native is fourth in the MEC in scoring (19.6 ppg), third in field goal percentage (.571 / 108-for-189) and third in three-point percentage (.489 / 45-for-92).

• To put Miller's numbers into perspective, since the installation of the three-point line into college basketball before the 1986 season, no Concord player has ever finished the season shooting better than 45 percent three-point range and better than 55 percent from the field.

• Miller has also made one three-pointer in all but one game this season.

• Only West Liberty's Seger Bonifant (76) and Glenville State's Donte Morales (50) have more made three-pointers than Miller's 45.

• Miller has spearheaded the efficient Concord offense as the Maroon and Gray is second in the league in field-goal percentage (.503).

• Even though the Mountain Lions rank ninth in free-throw shooting in the MEC, CU has been able to close opponents by shooting 85.5 percent (59-for-69)  from the charity stripe in the last five minutes of games this season.

• Boyd is fourth in the conference in foul shooting (.827 / 91-for-110) and is better in crunch time.

• The Cincinnati, Ohio native is 31-for-36 in the last five mintues of games or 86.1 percent.

• Concord's bench has played a big role in the success of Concord as the reserves have been able to record 10 or more points in 12 of 15 games this season and are averaging 16.6 ppg collectively.

• CU will be seeking to avenge two losses to UVa.-Wise a season ago.

• At the Carter Center, the Mountain Lions fell in overtime 79-77 as Hopewell finished with 18 points.

• The Mountain Lions also fell in overtime earlier this season to Glenville 83-81 in a game that had 19 lead changes and seven ties.

• Wade (19 points and 12 rebounds) and Hopewell (10 points and 10 rebounds) each double-doubles in the game while junior guard Rob Reed came off the bench to provide 22 points on 9-for-13 shooting.

• Glenville State is ranked third in the D2SIDA regional poll.

• GSC is second in the league in assists-to-turnover ratio (1.33).

• Morales is just behind Miller in the MEC in scoring (fifth / 19.3 ppg).

• The Pioneeers' Brett Morris is first in blocks shots (1.9) per game.

A CONCORD WIN WOULD...
• A Concord win over UVa.-Wise would avenge two losses to the Cavaliers a season ago.

• A Concord win over Glenville State would stop a brief two-game losing streak versus the Pioneers.

• A Concord win over Glenville State would give the Mountain Lions a split against GSC this season.
