Live Video ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University women's soccer team will be looking to start a winning streak when it hosts West Liberty in Mountain East Conference action 12:00 p.m. Sunday at Anderson Field.

MOUNTAIN LION NOTES• Most recently, CU knocked off MEC foe Shepherd 2-1 Wednesday at home. The win puts Concord's record at 3-2 and 1-1 in MEC play.
• The key play in the game came with less than a minute left in the match when senior back
Abby Barber scored her first goal of the season on a free kick to lift the Mountain Lions to the victory.
• Concord has the second-highest goals per game average in the MEC at 3.2 goals per game.
• The scoring has been led by junior forward
Kari Simon who has four goals this season along with two assists. For her career, Simon is tied for 10
th in all-time points at CU with 44 as well as tied for eighth in career goals with 18.
• In Concord's win versus Shepherd, redshirt freshman goalkeeper
Lacie Geisel played the best game of her young career by stopped eight of the nine shots that came her. The eight saves were a career-high for Geisel.
• Through five games, 10 different Concord players have tallied goals. In comparison, only five different players scored goals for CU a season ago.
• Additionally, four players have already registered at least two goals this season in junior forward

Emily Cole (two) and Simon (four).
• The Mountain Lions place first in the MEC in total assists with 10.
• Eight Concord players have registered assists this season as Cole leads the pack with three, a career-high.
• A season ago, the Mountain Lions swept West Liberty in two meetings as A. Barber and Simon netted goals in a 2-1 road win.

Sara van den Akker scored twice in a comeback win, 3-1.
SCOUTING WEST LIBERTY• The Hilltoppers come to Athens with a record of 1-1-2 overall and 1-0-1 in league play.
• West Liberty has netted just two goals in four games this season.
• WLU goalkeeper Allie Warsaw ranks fourth in the MEC in saves per game with 6.3.
