Box Score ELKINS, W.Va. – The Concord University volleyball team coasted to a three-set sweep (25-15, 25-14, 25-11) against Bluefield State in its opener of the Davis and Elkins Tournament. The win improves the Mountain Lions record to 5-3.
Four different Mountain Lions finished with at least four kills in the match led by senior middle hitter
Sarah Jones with seven. Freshman outside hitter
Alex Hawks recorded five kills while hitting an outstanding .714 in seven attack attempts.

Amanda Walker both recorded two service aces while McMillan had 13 assists and Walker contributed nine digs for CU. Freshman setter

The Mountain Lions will play two more matches at the Davis and Elkins Tournament at 12 p.m. versus Shippensburg before capping the weekend against Slippery Rock at 2 p.m.
