Glenville State battled back to score a single run in the sixth and got within a run of tying the game after a two-run home run by Kayleigh Huck in the seventh, but sophomore pitcher

West Virginia Wesleyan stretched its lead to 10-3 after six innings. The Mountain Lions began a comeback attempt in the top of the seventh.
