Wide Receiver Preview with Coach Pennington –
Complete Spring Prospectus –
Spring Overview with Coach Justice ATHENS, W. Va. - A year ago the Concord University football team was faced with the task of replacing three of its top four wide receivers. This season the Mountain Lions have the luxury of returning all five of its wide outs that saw significant playing time in 2013. Add in players that redshirted a season ago as well as new recruits and Concord's 2014 wide receivers have potential to be the deepest and most explosive collection CU has seen at the position.
"The wide receiver corps at Concord is an experienced group," Concord receivers coach
John Pennington said. "We have a lot of guys coming back this spring and we are hoping to develop a little more explosiveness on the outside."
Pennington recently sat down to discuss the Mountain Lions' wide outs entering spring practice. To view the interview click

The Lancaster, Va. native registered over 100 yards in a game four times including a team season-high 143 vs. West Virginia State.
