• At 16-6 overall, CU is just six wins away form breaking the all-time wins for a Concord team in a single season.

• Part of the success for the Mountain Lions have come from their improved pitching. Opponents are hitting .237 against CU pitchers this year, they hit .287 last season.

• After leading Concord to a 4-1 record at last weekend's Salem Invitational, junior first baseman / pitcher Lacey McDougall was named the MEC Hitter of the Week. • In its March 19 doubleheader shutout sweep of Lees-McRae, the pitching trio of McDougall, sophomore Allie Reid and freshmen Sarah Herndon allowed just four hits over 14 innings of work.

• With 24 games remaining in the season, both Reid and McDougall are on pace to break the single-season record for wins. The current record is 13 set by Tamara Smith in 2010. Reid is 8-2 this year while McDougall is 6-1. The pair also has nearly spotless ERA's of 2.41 and 1.42, respectively.

• Sophomore second baseman Kristen Rose, who has also scored a team-high 24 runs in her first year at Concord, has stolen 10 bases already this season and is on pace to break Concord's single-season stolen base record, currently held by Antonette Mazzella and Casey Ord with 17.

• Over her last six games, junior outfielder Jessica Seymour is 8-for-15 with four runs scored and two RBI.

• Sophomore Alyssa Morris has also been on a tear as of late for the Mountain Lions recently going 8-for-18 over the last seven games with three runs scored, six RBI and one home run.

• The next home run for McDougall will tie her for fourth all-time on the career home runs list at Concord with Stephanie Smith (1996-99) and Brooke Bowling (2010-11) at 11.

• With seven career home runs, Seymour needs one more long ball to tie Mazella and Becca Gleason for eighth on the all-time home run list.

• McDougall, who's on a six-game hitting streak, needs five more RBI to pass Concord assistant coach Stephanie Harper for fourth all-time.

• Freshman utility player Courtney Purtell is a perfect 2-for-2 in pinch-hitting situation this year for the Mountain Lions.
