ATHENS, W. Va. – The Concord University women's basketball team will look to avenge a 65-61 loss to the University of Charleston from earlier this season when they take to the road for the final time in the regular season 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Eddie King Gymnasium in Charleston, W. Va.

RECORDS
CU owns a record of 9-15 overall and 7-13 against Mountain East Conference teams. The Mountain Lions are in ninth place with two games remaining in the year. If the regular season ended today, Concord would go to Notre Dame College for the first round of the MEC tournament.
Charleston is third in the MEC with a 17-7 overall record and 13-7 mark in conference play.
ALL-TIME SERIES
Dating back to the 1994-95 season, Concord and Charleston have played 40 times with the Golden Eagles owning a 29-11 record against CU.
SCOUTING CONCORD
• As a team, the Mountain Lions are among the MEC's best in taking care of the ball. They rank second in turnover margin at +2.33 and third in assist-to-turnover ratio at 0.93.
• CU forces its opponents into 16.9, miscues per game, the third most in the MEC and has forced at least 10 turnovers in 21 of 24 games this season.
• In Saturday's loss vs. Shepherd, junior forward
Andrea Bertrand scored her 1,000th points and grabbed her 500th rebound, becoming just the sixth player in Concord history to achieve the career milestone. In the process, Bertrand passed Amber Showalter (2005-09) for 14th all-time in points scored. The Mountain Lions leading scorer this season now has 1,025 in her career. Bertrand sits in ninth place in career rebounds with 507.
• Over her last three games vs. UC, Bertrand is averaging 18.6 points per game (ppg) and 6.7 rebounds. Bertrand has recorded games of 25 points and six rebounds in each of the last two contests against the Golden Eagles.
• Junior guard
Melea Smith had a career day against Shepherd registering personal-bests in points (20), rebounds (eight), made three-pointers (four) and minutes played (30).
• In Saturday's contest, junior forward
Jacqueline Kestner recorded her third double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds while tying her season-high in minutes played with 39. Over CU's last 10 games, Kestner has played at least 30 minutes and is averaging 32.4 minutes per game, second only to Bertrand.

Rachel Artrip has now scored at least 10 points in seven straight games, the longest active streak for Concord. Nine of the last 11 games for Concord have resulted in Artrip scoring in double figures.
• In a two-block game against Fairmont State, senior center
Sammi Webster moved into sixth place in the Concord record books with 52 career rejections. Webster has 30 blocks this season, which ranks 10th for the Mountain Lions in single-season blocks.
• Freshman guard
Olivia Morgan played a career-high 37 minutes against Shepherd in her second collegiate start. Morgan recorded another career-high with four assists vs. the Rams. She is averaging 19.8 minutes per game in her last five contests.
• In terms of individual leaders in the MEC, Bertrand is third in scoring at 18.7 ppg and also ranks in the top-10 in offensive rebounding (third / 3.4), rebounding (fifth / 8.1), field goal percentage (fifth / .511) and minutes played (seventh / 34.2).
• In addition to being ranked third in the conference in scoring, Bertrand is 37th in the nation in ppg.
• Likewise, Webster ranks in field goal percentage (fourth / .515) and blocks (sixth, 1.3) and Kestner is ranked sixth in offensive rebounding (3.0).
SCOUTING CHARLESTON
• Charleston has won five of its six games including three in a row.
• UC is ranked first in the MEC in scoring defense allowing just 65.1 points per game.
• Individually, the Golden Eagles are led by Chyress Lockhart, who is averaging 14.7 ppg and 3.5 assists per game.

Concord's
Kenny Osborne is in his 13th season at CU. He owns a record of 199-195 at Concord and is 211-210 in 14 seasons of coaching.
Adam Collins is in his second season at Charleston. Collins' record with the Golden Eagles is 33-20.
