ATHENS, W.Va. - After road wins earlier in the season, the Concord University women's basketball team will look to complete the season sweeps of Fairmont State and Shepherd Thursday and Saturday at the Carter Center in MEC Play.

MOUNTAIN LIONS NOTES
• Concord starts play this week at 9-13 overall and 7-11 in Mountain East Conference play, placing ninth in the MEC standings.
• If the MEC tournament started today, Concord would play at Wheeling Jesuit in the first round.
Fairmont State sits at 13-8 overall and 11-7 in MEC action. The Fighting Falcons are sixth in the league standings.
• Meanwhile, Shepherd is 2-20 overall and 2-16 in MEC play. The Rams are 11th in the MEC standings.
• Junior forward
Andrea Bertrand needs 14 points and 12 rebounds to be the sixth CU player to record 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in a career.
• Over her last 10 games, Bertrand is averaging 18.4 points and 8.9 rebounds.
• In addition to Bertrand's steady scoring, junior guard
Sissy Wagner is averaging 17.8 points per game in her last 10 contests.
• With six blocks at W. Va. State, senior center
Sammi Webster moved from ninth to a tie for sixth in career blocks at Concord with 50 rejections.
• Webster needs five blocks to pass Jessica Ferguson (2003-06) for fifth in the Concord record book.
• Looking at other career records, Bertrand needs six rebounds to move past Donna Keaton (1995-99) for ninth all-time in team-history.
• With eight made field goals, Bertrand will move past Shari Walker (2004-07) for made shots in a career.
• Webster could work her way into the single season record book. She needs two blocks to pass Jolysa Brown (2008-09) and Ferguson (2005-06) for blocks in a single season with 30 rejections.
• The Mountain Lions defeated Fairmont State in a neutral court game in Logan, W.Va. 67-64 Jan. 11 before beating Shepherd 88-64 Jan. 13 on the road
• Against, Fairmont State and Shepherd, junior forward
Jacqueline Kestner scored 20 and 19 points, respectively.
• At Shepherd, Kestner made a career-high five three-pointers and went 8-for-11 combined from the three-point range in the two games.
• Over the last two seasons vs. the Falcons and Rams, Kestner is averaging 15.2 points per game, 7.2 rebounds and is shooting 65 percent (13-for-20) from three-point range.

Rachel Artrip has scored in double figures in seven of her last nine games.

• To begin play this week, Bertrand, Wagner and Webster rank in the top-10 across the MEC leaderboard.
• Bertrand places in points per game (18.6 / third), offensive rebounding (3.2 / third), field goal percentage (.520 / fifth), rebounding (8.0 / sixth) and minutes played (sixth / 34.2)
• Wagner ranks in assist (5.1 / first), assist-to-turnover ratio (2.06 / second), minutes played (35.6 / third) and three-point percentage (.397 / fourth)
• Webster sits in the top-10 in field goal percentage (.531 / fourth) and blocked shots (1.3 / sixth).

Kenny Osborne will be seeking his 200th career win at Concord. He owns a 199-193 record at CU.
• The Mountain Lions are 4-1 at home against Shepherd since the 2001-02 season.
