MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
Last Time Out

Concord ended the game at West Virginia Wesleyan on an 8-0 run to defeat the Bobcats 77-70 for its third straight win.

Freshman guard Danielle Catron tallied a career-high 16 points off the bench to lead CU in scoring.

Putting a Streak Together
Concord won three in a row last year from Jan. 11 to Jan. 18, but could not win four in a row. The last time CU strung together four consecutive was from Feb. 6-29, 2012.

Senior forward Jacqueline Kestner has scored at least 10 points in each of Concord's game this season as she is averaging 15.5 points per game, seventh in the Mountain East Conference.

Clashing the Boards
Kestner is tied for the league-best in rebounds per game with teammate junior forward Kylie Molisee as both are averaging 10.5 boards per contest.

Kestner, the reigning MEC Player of the Week, is second in the conference in offensive rebounding, posting 4.3 per game.

Deep-Shooting Marksman
Senior forward Rachel Artrip needs four made three-pointers to tie Holly Bibb for 10th all-time on made triples at Concord. Additionally, five made three-point field goals will tie Artrip with Meghan Cole for ninth all-time.

Dynamic Backcourt
Sophomore guard Olivia Morgan and senior guard Melea Smith make up one of the top guard combos in the MEC.

Morgan is third in assists per game (4.5) and fourth in assists-to-turnover ratio (1.59) while Smith is second in free-throw percentage (85 percent) and 13th in scoring (13.5).

In the prior three seasons, Mountain Lion point guard have averaged at least 3.5 apg for Osborne's clubs.

Smith has found her shooting stroke over the CU win streak, scoring in double figures in three of her last four contests. The Lancaster, Ohio native has moved her scoring average from 9.3 to 13.5 during the stretch.

Helping Out
During its three-game win streak, Concord has had 14, 21 and 16 assists. The last time Concord had 14 or more assists in at least three straight games was when they had four games of 14 or more assists from Feb. 8-22, 2014.

UP NEXT
The Mountain Lions are guaranteed two games at the Rollins Invitational. If Concord wins its first game, they will play the winner of Indianapolis/Tarleton State in the championship game. A loss would match CU up against the loser of that contest.
