Mitchell Thompson is fourth in the conference in goal against average (1.38) and also ranks second in saves per game (5.8).
• For the season, Thompson has turned aside 23 of the 30 shots that have come his way, a save percentage of .811.
• Freshman midfielder
Royale Johnson leads Concord with 13 total and seven of his shots (53.8 percent) have been on goal.
• Johnson's three shots per game sits sixth in the conference.
• Last season against Notre Dame at home, junior defender
Tyler Harris had one of three CU shots on goal.
Thompson made three saves for the Mountain Lions against the Falcons at Anderson Field last year.
SCOUTING NOTRE DAME• Notre Dame is ranked second in the MEC in goals per game (2.5), goals allowed (.75), assists per game (1.3) and points per game (6.3)
• NDC goalkeeper Spencer Semple has posted five shutouts this season, second-most in the MEC.
