Box Score ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University volleyball team was swept in three sets by Urbana (25-19, 25-12, 25-17) at the Carter Center Saturday morning in Mountain East Conference play.
Concord (10-10, 2-6 MEC) was paced by senior outside
Brytni Willis who finished with 12 kills marking the fourth time in five games Willis has finished a match with double-digit kills. The Silver Spring, Maryland native needs just 16 kills to record 1,000 kills for her career.
After the first set was tied at 13-13, Urbana (10-9, 7-1 MEC) went on a 7-3 run in the first game and never looked back in the entire match on its way to the three-set win.
The Mountain Lions registered more blocks than the Blue Knights (13-8) as senior middle hitter

Alexis Elliott had five and four blocks respectively.

Amanda Walker had a team-high 11 digs for Concord.
The Mountain Lions will continue their current nine-game homestand when they host Davis & Elkins at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday before playing WVU Tech at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
