ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University women's soccer team will look to exact revenge on West Virginia Wesleyan at 12:00 p.m. Sunday at Anderson Field.

RECORDS
• The Mountain Lions sport a record of 4-4-3 overall and 2-3-3 in Mountain East Conference play. Concord is fifth in the league standings.

• West Virginia Wesleyan is 6-2-1 overall and 4-2-1 in league action.

MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
• Concord fell on the road in its last game Wednesday versus Shepherd by a score of 3-1.

• Senior midfielder Stacey Calder tallied her second goal of the season in the loss and sophomore midfielder Margot Provencher recorded her second career assist on Calder's goal.

• In last Saturday's game versus Notre Dame College, freshman goalkeeper Kaitlyn Hanrahan posted seven saves in allowing one goal to the conference leading Falcons.

• Four Concord players have scored at least two goals this season as junior forward Kari Simon leads the group with seven followed by junior forward Chloe Barber (four), sophomore forward Emily Cole (three) and Calder (two).

• The Mountain Lions already have four players with two or more goals on the year in 10 games this season. Last year, it took 13 games for Concord to accomplish the same feat.

• Simon is tied for first in the MEC in goals scored (seven) and fourth in assists (three).

• Meanwhile, Cole is ranked second in the conference in assists as she has already surpassed last season's total, tallying four this season.

• In the first matchup with WVWC, a 3-1 Bobcats' win, Simon scored the lone Concord goal.

• Freshman back Kaeli Studebaker had two shots on goal while senior midfielder Sami Spertzel had a single shot on goal in the first game against WVWC this season.
SCOUTING WEST VIRGINIA WESLEYAN
• West Virginia Wesleyan has allowed a league-low four goals in nine contests this season.

• Bobcats goalkeeper Lauren Duncan is second in the MEC in goals against average (.4), but her defense has a stellar job of keeping the ball away from scoring threats as Duncan is only making 2.8 saves per game.

UP NEXT
Concord will travel to West Liberty Wednesday afternoon for a pivotal MEC game against West Liberty. Kickoff is slated for 3:00 p.m.
