ATHENS, W.Va. - After more than a month between home games, the Concord University women's basketball team will host Charleston at the Carter Center Thursday before playing Fairmont State in Logan, W.Va. Saturday.

The Concord University Sports Information Department will provide live stats and video for the home game against Charleston. Additionally, live stats will be provide by the Concord for the neutral site game against Fairmont State Saturday.
MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
• The Mountain Lions are coming off a 1-1 weekend road trip where they defeated West Liberty 79-78 and lost to Wheeling Jesuit 70-55.
• CU beat WLU for just the second time since 1994.
• After the weekend split, Concord's record now sits at 4-5 overall and 2-4 in the MEC, slotting them eighth in the league standings.
• Junior forward
Andrea Bertrand ranks third in the MEC in scoring at 18.9 points per game after scoring 21 points vs. West Liberty and 20 at Wheeling Jesuit.
• Bertrand has led CU in scoring in five of their nine game this season.
• After passing out eight assists over the last two games, junior point guard
Sissy Wagner needs just seven helpers to reach 200 career assists.
• Wagner would be just the 11th player in CU history to achieve the milestone.
• Additionally, she needs just 15 more assists to crack the top-10 in careers assists.
• For the season, Wagner ranks second in the conference in assist-turnover ratio at 1.64.
• Against WJU, the Mountain Lions forced 29 turnovers, a season-high.
• It was the most turnovers Concord has forced since their season-opener during the 2010-11 season against Pitt-Johnstown when they forced 30 Mountain Cat miscues.
• Meanwhile on the offensive end, senior center
Sammi Webster has scored in double figures five times so far this season. She only scored 10 or more points four times last season.
• Webster has also been very efficient from the floor as she ranks third in the MEC in field goal perecentage at 60.4 percent (32-of-53).
• Last year when Charleston traveled to Athens, Bertrand had a career night against the Golden Eagles. She scored a then-career high of 30 points and collected 11 rebounds.
• Defensively, CU forced 21 turnovers against UC at home last season, which was the third game in a stretch of four contests the Mountain Lions forced the opposition into at least 20 mistakes.
• As a team, Concord ranks third in the MEC in turnover margin at +1.0.
• The Mountain Lions also sit fourth in the league in offensive rebounding with 15.1 offensive boards per game.
• Individually, Bertrand ranks fifth in the MEC pulling down 3.4 offensive rebounds per game.
• The Mountain Lions will look to continue their impressive streak of forcing double digit turnovers this season.
• CU has forced their oppostion into at least 10 turnovers in 11 consecutive games dating back to last season.
• Over the last five games, junior guard
Rachel Artrip has scored in double figures three times.
• Junior forward
Jacqueline Kestner has started in 29 consecutive games for the Mountain LIons, making it the longest active streak on the roster.
• As for Concord's opponents, Charleston possesses a record of 7-3 overall and 4-4 in MEC play.
• UC is led by guard Chyress Lockhart who sits just below Bertrand in scoring per game at 18.3.
• The Fighting Falcons of Fairmont State will start conference play this week at 4-4 overall and 2-3 in conference games. Fairmont will play vs. Wheeling Jesuit on Thursday.
• FSU's leading scorer is Makenzie White at 14.8 points per game. Fairmont has five players that average at least 11 points per game.
A CONCORD WIN WOULD…
• A win against Charleston would snap Concord's two-game losing streak vs. UC.
• A win against Fairmont State in Logan would be the first victory for Concord on a neutral court this season.
