ATHENS, W.Va. - The Concord University women's basketball team will finish the season with six of its final 10 games at home beginning Thursday with W. Va. Wesleyan, who CU defeated 70-62 earlier this season in Buckhannon.

MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
• The Mountain Lions enter action Thursday with a record of 8-8 overall and 6-6 in Mountain East Conference play, pitting them eighth in the conference standings.
• Head coach
Kenny Osborne needs just two more win to reach 200 wins at Concord. He owns a record of 198-188 in 13 seasons at CU.
• In its last two games, CU defeated UVa.-Wise 73-66 before falling to No. 11 Glenville State 108-89.
Over their last ten games, Concord is 6-4, a run that started with a victory against West Virginia Wesleyan on the road, 70-62.
• The Mountain Lions will carry a three-game winning streak against WVWC into Thursday night's contest and can even the all-time series 15-15 dating back to 1994-95.
• Over the last ten games, junior forward
Andrea Bertrand is averaging 17.9 points per game on 54.2 percent shooting from the field (70-of-129).
• Bertrand is third in the conference in scoring at 18.4 points per game and fifth in rebounding with 7.9 boards per contest.
• Bertrand continues to progress her way to becoming the 15th 1,000-point scorer in Concord history. She needs just 110 to reach the milestone.
• In the win over UVa.-Wise, junior guard
Sissy Wagner was able to seal the game for CU at the foul line with a 6-for-6 performance in the last 60 seconds of the game.
• For the season, Wagner is 27-of-27 at the charity stripe in the last three minutes of contests.
• Wagner also leads the MEC in assists per game at 5.5, which ranks 12th in Division II women's basketball.
• Wagner ranks among the MEC's best in assist-to-turnover ratio (second / 2.02), three-point percentage (fourth / .424), free-throw percentage (seventh / .827) and minutes played (second / 36.1).
• Against UVa.-Wise, junior guard
Rachel Artrip made a season-high four three-pointers and fell just one shy of matching her career high of five, which she set against Alderson-Broaddus Nov. 20, 2012.
• In the matchup against Glenville State, junior forward
Jacqueline Kestner recorded her second double-double of the season, and eighth of her career, with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
• Kestner has a current streak of 10 consecutive games with a steal.
• In Concord's first game of the season against the Bobcats, junior guard
Melea Smith had her best game as a Mountian Lions with a career-high 14 points including making 3-of-4 three-pointers and making 5-of-6 free throws.
• Senior center
Sammi Webster also registered a season-high three steals against the Bobcats earlier in the year.
• Freshman guard
Olivia Morgan made her first collegiate start on the road against WVWC, collecting career-highs in points (seven) and steals (four) while also playing a career-high in minutes (34).
• Concord picked up one of its two wins when trailing at halftime against the Bobcats. They faced a 29-27 deficit at intermission in the first meeting.

Ashley Brown and freshman center
Alley Odell, the Mountain Lions matched a season-high in bench points with 23 vs. the Bobcats.
• West Virginia Wesleyan will be looking for its first win in the MEC as they are 0-12 in MEC play 2-14 overall.
• Meanwhile, Notre Dame is 9-6 overall and 6-5 in MEC action, ranking seventh in the conference standings. NDC travels to West Liberty Thursday before hosting Concord Saturday.

• A Concord win over West Virginia Wesleyan would give the Mountain Lions their fourth straight win over the Bobcats.
• A Concord win over Notre Dame College would be the first all-time for CU in three meetings.
