BLACKSBURG, Va.--The Concord University men's cross country team opened up its season Friday night at the Virginia Tech Invitational.
Senior
Brad Dugan led CU with a 24th place finish, navigating the 6K course in 20:26. Freshman
Brandon Lee crossed the finish line right behind Dugan at 20:41, finishing 27th.
Sophomore
Jake Munsey and junior
Jordan Weitzel crossed in 31st and 32nd place, running 20:51 and 20:52 respectively.
Jacob Doss (36th, 21:13) rounded out the top five for the Mountain Lions.
Also competing for Concord were
Cody Honaker (44th),
Tony Tredway (50th) and Conner Evens (53rd).
The Mountain Lions will next compete at the Coastal Carolina University Invitational on September 13th.Â
