The Concord defensive line will be forced to replace four key players from last year's rotation, most notably being multi-time All-WVIAC honoree
Josh Miller.
Leading the returners is
Silas Agyemang, who was enjoying a career-year until an injury cut short his season in 2012.
On the year, Agyemang had 33 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, two sacks and one fumble recovery. Agyemang was among the nation's leaders in tackles for loss when he suffered his season-ending injury. Her earned all-conference honors despite missing the final part of the season
Also back for another season are
Keith Ferguson and
Will Greathouse. The duo combined for 27 tackles, eight tackles for loss and three sacks as sophomores in 2012. Both players will contend for starting positions this season.
Anthony Pyle, who sat out last season after transferring from the Air Force Academy, will begin the spring as a starter.
Paul Smith will see time at end and tackle.
Luis Serrano is now in his third year in the CU program and can play all three positions on the line.
Ryan Shorter will also compete for snaps in the spring.
Part three of the Concord Spring Football preview series will look at the quarterbacks and tight ends on Tuesday.
