ELKINS, W. Va. – The Concord University baseball team lost at Davis & Elkins, 8-4, Sunday in West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference competition.

Concord inched closer in the fourth inning when freshman outfielder

Jerrod Groves.
However, Davis & Elkins responded with three runs in the seventh inning to push its lead to 8-4, a lead the Senators would keep for the rest of the game to avoid the three-game sweep.
