Glenville State Statistics
ATHENS, W. Va. – The Concord University volleyball team will host Glenville State College at the Carter Center in the opening round of the Mountain East Conference Tournament 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.

MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
• The Mountain Lions earned the right to host an opening-round match by being seeded seventh for the MEC Tournament after finishing the year at 15-16 overall and 7-9 in conference play.
• The 15 wins marked the third consecutive year Concord has won at least 15 matches in a season. The last time that had happened at Concord was between 1990-92.
• Concord ended its season by winning two of its final four matches with 3-0 wins over West Virginia State and Glenville State in addition to 3-1 defeats vs. West Virginia Wesleyan and Charleston.
• Glenville State enters the tournament as the 10th seed at 10-22 overall and 4-12 in the MEC.
• The Mountain Lions defeated Glenville State in both of their regular season contests and are yet to lose a set to the Pioneers in 2013. In all, Concord has not lost to Glenville State since 2010, a span of four matches.
• As a team, Concord posted a .284 attack percentage in six sets against the Pioneers this year.
• CU has been led by junior middle hitter
Sarah Jones, senior middle hitter
Jasmin Sutherland and junior outside hitter
Brytni Willis.
• Jones has recorded team-highs of 292 kills to go with 86 blocks and 15 aces. Sutherland, who is third on the team in kills at 222, leads all Mountain Lions in blocks (90) and attack percentage (.313). Rounding out the trio is Willis, who has produced 275 kills, 30 aces and 287 digs.
• Junior
Nikki McMillan and
Amanda Walker have split setting duties this season with the pair tallying 417 and 392, respectively. The pair has also proven to be Concord's top servers on the year with 44 and 42 aces.
• Junior libero
Lindsey Smith has officially led Concord in digs for second consecutive season thanks to 328 in 2013.
• After playing a limited role in her first two seasons at CU, right side hitter
Whytni Willis has had a career-year as a junior with 73 kills, 91 assists, 68 digs and 31 blocks.
• Glenville State is led by Dejana Ludoski who has 414 kills, a .250 attack percentage and 33 blocks.
