SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio - The Concord University women's soccer team was unable to hand Notre Dame College its first loss of the season as the Falcons defeated the Mountain Lions, 3-0, Saturday morning in Mountain East Conference play.
Concord (3-6-1, 1-5-1 MEC) was led by junior back
Abby Barber, who recorded two of CU's three shots on the game. Freshman forward
Emily Cole was responsible for the Mountain Lions' other shot.

Kristin Twomey split half's with Wasylko starting the contest and Twomey playing the entirety of the second period. Wasylko allowed one goal while Twomey made one save and gave up a pair of scores.
Concord played Notre Dame (9-0-0, 7-0-0 MEC) even for opening 32 minutes of the first half until Megan O'Connor scored the first of her two goals on the day in the 33rd minute to give NDC a 1-0 lead which it would take in to halftime.
The Falcons received insurance goals in the second half from Alex Deflippo at 57:53 and O'Connor at 84:33 en route to the 3-0 win.
For the game, Notre Dame College held a 13-3 advantage over Concord in shots while both teams earned four corner kicks each.
Concord returns home to Anderson Field to take on Shepherd at 2:00 p.m. on Oct. 19.
