ATHENS, W. Va. – With just two game remaining in the regular season, the Concord University women's soccer team will host Notre Dame College 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Anderson Field in a Mountain East Conference contest that will go a long way in determining CU's postseason fate.

LIVE COVERAGE
The Concord Sports Information Department provides live in-game statistics and live video of every Mountain Lion contest. Additionally, Notre Dame College will be broadcasting Saturday's game. Links to all three coverage options can be found at the top of the page, or by clicking here.

RECORDS and STANDINGS
Thanks to a three-match unbeaten streak, the Mountain Lions have pushed their overall record to 6-7-2 and their MEC mark to 4-6-2. Notre Dame enters Saturday's game at 13-1-0 overall and 11-1-0 in conference play.

With each MEC school having just two league matches remaining on its schedule, the picture of the upcoming conference tournament is becoming clearer.  The top four teams in the MEC standings according to points qualify the postseason tournament (teams are awarded three points for a conference win and one point for a tie).

The Falcons currently find themselves atop the MEC standings and just one win, or a West Virginia Wesleyan loss, away from clinching the top seed in the MEC Tournament. Additionally, Notre Dame was ranked sixth in the initial NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional rankings released earlier this week.

CU enters Saturday in fifth place with 14 points, one point behind fourth place Wheeling Jesuit (15) and five back of Charleston (19), whom Concord will face in its regular-season finale.

While a victory over Notre Dame would not clinch a playoff spot for Concord, it would greatly improve their chances as a Concord loss coupled with a Wheeling Jesuit win vs. West Liberty eliminates the Mountain Lions from tournament contention.

MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
• Concord is 2-0-1 during its current homestand with wins over Urbana (2-1) and West Liberty (3-1) as well as a tie against Wheeling Jesuit (1-1). On the year, Concord is 3-1-2 at home. CU's winning record at home should come as no surprise; the Mountain Lions are 20-6-4 at Anderson Field under current head coach Stefani Workman.

• Sophomore forward Kari Simon scored a goal and added an assist in the Mountain Lions' recent 2-1 win over Urbana. The three-point game gave Simon, the MEC's second leading goal scorer, new career-highs in goals (nine) and points (19). As a freshman in 2012 Simon scored recorded 16 points off of eight goals.

• Simon has accounted for five goals and one assist over CU's last five games including goals in back-to-back contests.

• Freshman forward Emily Cole broke a 10-game goalless streak with her game-winning shot against Urbana.

• Sophomore goalie Kaitlyn Wasylko has been the goalie of record for the Mountain Lions in each match during Concord's current unbeaten streak. Wasylko, who has improved her record to 2-3-1 on the season, has allowed just two goals while making 15 saves over her last 245 minutes played.

• A quartet of Mountain Lions notched their first points of the season recently. Freshman midfielder Sara van den Akker tallied two goals against West Liberty, Nikki Jarrell posted the first goal of her collegiate career in the same game, freshman forward Margot Provencher first assist came on Jarrell's score and freshman midfielder Brenda Arriaza came away with an assist vs. Wheeling Jesuit.

• Simon, Cole and senior midfielder Melissa Woo Ling are the only three Concord players to have started all 15 games so far this year.

• Earlier in the season, Concord dropped a 3-0 decision at Notre Dame.

• The Falcons are led by goalie Kristy Kolschetzky (11 shutouts) and Megan O'Connor (10 goals).
