SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The Concord University volleyball team extended its season-long winning streak to five matches with a 3-0 victory over Mountain East Conference foe Notre Dame College Friday night at the Murphy Gymnasium in South Euclid, Ohio.
Concord won a trio of close sets over the Falcons 26-24, 25-19 and 25-23. The triumph improves the Mountain Lions' record to 12-10 overall and 4-3 in the MEC. Notre Dame falls to 2-19 overall and 0-7 in league play.
The five consecutive victories are a program-high for CU under head coach

As a team, the Mountain Lions held advantages over Notre Dame in attack percentage (.220 - .070), kills (35-34), aces (6-5) and blocks (11 – 2).
Leading the way for Concord were junior middle hitter
Sarah Jones and junior outside hitter
Brytni Willis. Jones, the MEC's reigning Player of the Week, recorded match-highs of 11 kills and five blocks (five assisted) to go with eight digs with Willis close behind at 10 kills, three blocks (three assisted) and seven digs of her own. The double-digit kill effort was the ninth for Jones this season.
Senior middle hitter
Jasmin Sutherland chipped in seven kills while freshman middle hitter
Lauren Richardson matched Jones with five blocks (five assisted) to push her season-total to 66.
Junior setter
Nikki McMillan posted her third double-double of the year with 15 assists and 11 digs in addition to a pair of aces. Fellow junior setter
Amanda Walker produced 14 assists and a match-best three aces as well.
Junior libero
Lindsey Smith joined McMillan with a double-digit dig performance of her own after making a team-high 12 Friday.
Suzanne Morris paced Notre Dame with nine kills.
