ATHENS, W. Va. – The Concord University volleyball team made quick work of local rival Bluefield State Friday night at the Carter Center as the Mountain Lions disposed of their local rival, 3-0, in a match that lasted just 54 minutes.
Concord, which did not trail the entire match, took the contest in straight sets 25-7, 25-11 and 25-7 to even its overall record to 10-10 on the season. Bluefield State dropped to 0-14 on the year with the loss.
The Mountain Lions compiled an attack percentage of .536, by far their highest of the season.

Concord closes out its season-long four-game homestand 1:00 p.m. Saturday against Glenville State in Mountain East Conference competition. The Mountain Lions enter the match with a 2-3 record in MEC matches this season.
