ATHENS, W. Va. - The Concord University women's basketball team will look to win back-to-back home games for the second time this season when it hosts Alderson-Broaddus (Thursday, 5:30 p.m.) and West Liberty (Saturday, 2:00 p.m.) for two crucial WVIAC games at the Carter Center.

Records
Concord, which has lost its last two games, begins the weekend 4-11 overall and 3-6 in the WVIAC.
• Alderson-Broaddus suffered a 99-58 loss at Wheeling Jesuit on Jan. 14 to drop its record to 3-9 overall and 2-6 in league play.
• West Liberty enters its game against Fairmont State on Thursday 9-4 overall and 7-2 in the WVIAC.
Series Records
Despite dropping a tough overtime decision at A-B earlier this season, CU is still 7-3 vs. the Battlers in the last 10 meetings. West Liberty holds a 21-1 advantage over Concord since 1994-85.
Scouting Concord
• Forward
Jacqueline Kestner has been on a hot streak in Concord's last three games. The sophomore has eclipsed her previous career-best in scoring in each game with her best total being a 15-point performance on 6-for-9 shooting from the field at Davis & Elkins.
• Over the three-game stretch Kestner, who is also Concord's leading rebounder at 5.2 rebounds a game, has connected on 60.9 percent (14-of-23) of her shots including four of her last seven three-point attempts.
• After being held under 10 points for five consecutive games, sophomore forward
Rachel Artrip came off the bench to explode for a career-high 22 points at Davis & Elkins. Artrip also helped the CU cause on defense by coming away with a personal-best five steals.
• The Mountain Lions' 13.2 turnovers per game are the lowest in the WVIAC and Atlantic Region while ranking 13th overall in the nation.
• Sophomore guard Stephanie Wagner's 2.25 assist/turnover ratio is the 12th best in the nation while her 4.9 assists per game rank second in the WVIAC.
• Junior guard
Amanda Smith, Concord's leading scorer (13.1 ppg) has been nearly automatic from the foul line recently. Smith, who has made 10 straight free throws, is 14-for-16 (87.5 percent) from the charity stripe in Concord's last four games.
Scouting Alderson-Broaddus
Amanda People is the WVIAC's fifth-leading rebounder (8.8 rpg) and 13th leading scorer (14.0 ppg). Peoples has missed just one foul shot this season (26-for-27) and leads the conference in free throw percentage at 96.3 percent. Leah Hurst is second on the team in both scoring (12.2 ppg) and rebounding (7.2 rpg).
Scouting West Liberty
In addition to leading the league in free throw percentage (76.4 percent), West Liberty also lays claim to the league's third-highest scoring offense at 76.4 ppg. Leading the Hilltopper attack is the WVIAC's leading scorer Hillary Southworth, who averages 21.4 ppg. Meghan Wiseman has recorded team-bests of 17 blocks and 92 rebounds (7.1) in addition to scoring 15.3 ppg.

Kenny Osborne is 198-184 overall in 14 seasons as a Division II women's basketball coach and is 186-169 in his time at Concord.
