WHEELING, W. Va. - Concord University's mens soccer team suffered a loss against Wheeling Jesuit this Saturday afternoon, 2-0. The West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletics match-up has brought CU to an overall 2-7-1 record and 1-5-0 record in conference.
The Mountain Lions got a total of eight shots off during the match.
Richard Vincent and
Kris Robins led the team with two shots each.
Other contributors to the attack were

Sebastian Escobar tallying the board with shots.
The Cardinals grabbed their first goal at 1:50 with an upper righthand corner of the net placement from Luke Roan. CU was able to hold off their opponent through the remainder of the first half.
Wheeling Jesuit midfielder Luke Roan finished his second goal of the day, assisted by teammate Philip Mshelbwala during the 55th minute.

Mitchell Thompson ended the game with a total of five saves, allowing two goals.
CU will be hosting the University of the Cumberlands (KY) at Anderson Field on Wednesday, October 3rd. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
