RAINOUT FORCES CU TO SPEND ANOTHER DAY IN NORTHERN PANHANDLE

Concord's softball team will be spending extra time in the Northern Panhandle, thanks to the weather.

The Mountain Lions' WVIAC doubleheader at Wheeling Jesuit, scheduled for Saturday, has been rained out.

The twinbill is set to be made up tomorrow – Sunday, April 22 – at 12:00 pm at the JB Chambers I-470 Complex in Wheeling, WV.

Concord opened its weekend road trip by splitting a doubleheader at West Liberty on Friday afternoon.

Sunday will be the final day of the season for Concord (18-29, 7-16). Wheeling Jesuit (16-34, 5-20) is scheduled to follow up its meeting with CU with a non-conference doubleheader against Indiana University (PA) on Monday afternoon.
