WOMEN'S GOLF: FIRST ROUND IN PATASKALA

ERICE LEADS CU AT GIVE 18 FORE CANCER CLASSIC

Concord's women's golf team finds itself in 11th place after the first round of the Give 18 Fore Cancer Classic, hosted by Ohio Dominican University.

Marina Erice was CU's leader, carding a 79 to tie for the 15th-best individual score.  She tied for 3rd in Par 4 scoring and tied for 9th for most pars on the par-72, 6177-yard Cumberland Trail Golf Club in Pataskala, OH.

Shelby Myers shot an 83 to tie for 29th.  Justine Knox posted a 90 to tie for 62nd and Heather McMillen tied for 72nd with a 97.

The tournament's second and final round is set for tomorrow – Sunday, April 1.
