MEN'S GOLF: UP ONE SPOT

MOUNTAIN LIONS GRAB 12th PLACE AT UNA CLASSIC

Concord's men's golf team moved up one spot to finish 12th after the final round of the annual North Alabama Spring Classic in Muscle Shoals, AL.

The Mountain Lions totaled a 311 on the par-72, 7126-yard Robert Trent Jones at the Shoal Fighting Joe Course.

Evan Muscari was CU top's individual performer, carding a 77 on Tuesday to finish tied for 42nd place at 12-over par 228.

Matt Morgan posted Concord's best final round score, a 76, to finish 59th at +18 234.

Taylor Reilly carded a 77 to end at 237, tied for 65th.

Nathaniel Begley and Sebastian Starud finished the tournament at 238 and in a tie for 67th place.

The Mountain Lions now prepare for the only conference tournament of the spring season – the WVIAC Southern Regional, starting Monday, April 2, at the Edgewood Country Club in Sissonville, WV.
