ATHENS, W. Va. - After playing two non-conference games, the Concord University women's basketball team will jump back into West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play 2:00 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 8) at West Virginia Wesleyan.
MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
• After Saturday's game, Concord will be off until it hosts Charleston on January 3.
• Concord and West Virginia Wesleyan have split the last 10 match-ups. The Bobcats have won the last three contests, including a 76-74 win at the Carter Center last year.
• Junior guard
Amanda Smith, who scored 15 points against Wesleyan last season, enters Saturday's game as Concord's leading scorer at 14.3 points per game.
• Smith is shooting 51.5 percent (52-101) from the field, which ranks 15th in the WVIAC. Smith is the only player to take at least 100 shots and still be ranked in the top-15 in field goal percentage in the WVIAC.
• Sophomore guard Stephanie Wagner leads the WVIAC in assist-turnover ratio (2.06) and ranks third in assists per game (4.71).
• Wagner just missed a double-double against Lincoln Memorial after totaling nine points, eight rebounds to go with a season-high matching six assists.
• Junior center
Sammi Webster returned to the staring lineup against CU for the first time in three games vs. LMU and finished with six points, six rebounds and two steals in 25 minutes of work.
• Freshman guard
Leslie Mack has made five of her last six three-point attempts.
• Concord committed 18 turnovers vs. Lincoln Memorial, but forced 20 LMU turnovers to continue its season-long streak of not committing more turnovers than its opponents.

• West Virginia Wesleyan is 2-4 overall and 1-2 in the WVIAC. The Bobcats lost their last game, 92-68 at Glenville State. Wesleyan is 2-1 at home this season. Atavia Blake ranks fifth in the WVIAC in scoring (19.0 ppg) and grabs 8.2 rebounds per game for Wesleyan.

Kenny Osborne is in his 13th season as Concord's head coach. Osborne has tallied a record of 185-165 (.529) at CU. With record of 197-180 (.523) in his career, Osborne is just three wins shy of 200 career victories.
Jackie Devane enters her second season as the head women's basketball coach at West Virginia Wesleyan. In her first season as the Bobcats' head coach, Devane led her squad to a 24-7 record, a WVIAC title and subsequent berth into the NCAA Tournament. For her career, Devane is 204-231 (.469) as a head coach.
