Concord Loses at Cedarville, 4-0

Box Score CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Concord University men's soccer team wrapped up its 2012 season Saturday night with a 4-0 loss at Cedarville University. Concord concludes its season with a record of 5-11-2. The five wins are tied for the most in a season since the program was reinstated.

Ryan Forde led Concord with two shots on the day. Goalie Mitchell Thompson stopped a eight shots in the loss.

Concord fell behind 3-0 in the firs half after Cedarville scored goals at 9:26, 23:49 and 38:03. Cedarville added one more goal seven minutes into the second half to secure the 4-0 victory.

Concord was outshot 23-2 and held a 10-1 disadvantage in corners/

Saturday marked the final collegiate games for seniors Richard Vincent, Ryne Shuff and Matt Hamilton.
