Fairland, Md. - The Concord University men's soccer team began its final three games of the 2012 season with a 3-3 tie Saturday at Washington Adventist. The Mountain Lions were led by junior midfielder
Tyler Farrar, who scored one goal and sent in a corner kick that led to another CU score.
The tie moves Concord's record to 4-10-2 on the season. The Mountain Lions are 2-1-1 in their last four games. Washington Adventist is 3-8-2 on the year.

Ryan Forde added Concord's third goal on a five-shot night while junior
Sebastian Escobar added one assist.
As a team, Concord held advantages in shots, 28-12, and shots on goal, 14-6. Washington Adventist held the edge in corner kicks, 5-2.

Mitchell Thompson earned the draw after stopping three shots in 110 minutes of action.
WAU drew first blood when Kyle Christiansen broke a 0-0 tie 13:37 into the first half. However, the Mountain Lions quickly took a 2-1 lead by scoring twice in under 10 minutes.
Fararr's first strike was assisted by Escobar at the 23:55 mark in the first half followed by Jordan's goal from a corner kick taken by Farrar at 32:01. WAU evened the match at 2-2 with a goal in the 36th minute to make it a 2-2 game at the half.
Concord once again broke the tie with Forde's goal, which came on a shot from 30 yards out just four minutes into the second half. But Washington Adventist once again answered with a goal of its own to tie the match at 3-3 with 35 minutes to play in regulation.
Those would be the last goals of the night, neither team was able to net its fourth goal and the game ended in a tie.
Concord will continue its season-ending three-game road trip against 4:00 p.m. Oct. 24 at Ohio Valley in what will be CU's final West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game of the season.
