The senior right hander held the Lady Lions hitless until the bottom of the 4th, on Bowling's two-out infield single.

Meanwhile, Bowling limited SHU to only one hit through four innings. But she ran into trouble in the 5th.
Domasky reached on error to start the inning and moved to second on a groundout. Beth Swartzvelder singled to center to drive in Domasky and double the Griffins' lead.
Bowling fanned Jessi DiVottorio for the second out, but then yielded a two-run home run to Stefanie Wiegand that stretched the visitors' advantage to 4-0.

Concord's best chance against Nusser came in the bottom of the 5th. Katelyn Williams led off with a double and advanced to third on a groundout, but was left stranded.

Williams' 2-3 performance paced the Lady Lions. Bowling gave up only five hits and one earned run but was saddled with the loss.
