Sometimes you have to see something in person to really comprehend it.

The Concord Men's Basketball team knew the University of Charleston was one of the hottest teams in the WVIAC going into their visit to UC Wednesday night.
The Golden Eagles had won six games in a row, including impressive victories over Pitt-Johnstown and Fairmont State.

But the Mountain Lions didn't know quite how hot UC was until they saw them up close. Concord got an eyeful, falling to the Golden Eagles 105-86 at the Eddie King Gymnasium

Charleston shot a sizzling .618 (21-34) in the 1st half, breaking open a close game with a 38-12 run before halftime to lead 62-33 at the break. Concord would close the gap in the 2nd half but never threatened the Eagles' advantage.
