Concord's Men's Basketball team knew it was facing a talented opponent in Wednesday night's visit to Davis & Elkins.

What they couldn't predict was how the Senators, who have three Division I transfers in their starting lineup, would turn in an above average performance.

Very above average.

D&E went over its season norms in rebounds and assists in defeating the Mountain Lions 83-76 at the McDonnell Center.

The Senators pulled down 51 rebounds, a remarkable 18 over their average, on the way to out-boarding CU by 15. D&E also had a significant advantage, 22-11, in offensive rebounds.

D&E's 18 assists (offset by just 12 turnovers) were three more than their average.
