The regular season came to an end for the Concord Volleyball team Sunday, in a 25-17, 25-18, 25-23 sweep at the hands of WVIAC foe West Virginia Wesleyan in Buckhannon, WV.

Amber Miller again topped Concord with 10 kills. Fellow senior Emily Wilson added five.

Helen Theisen distributed 21 assists and Allie Pennington recorded 13 digs.

Korin Wengryn led the host Bobcats with 12 kills and a .450 hitting percentage. WVWC outhit Concord .302 to .091.

The Lady Lions (9-25, 4-10) now look ahead to their first-round match in the WVIAC Tournament, Thursday, November 11 in Charleston, WV.

Concord is seeded 12th and will meet #5 Shepherd. Match time is scheduled for 11:00 am at the Charleston Catholic Sports Complex.

Shepherd defeated Concord in four sets in their regular season match October 30 in Shepherdstown, WV.
