Buckhannon, WV- Concord traveled to Buckhannon seeking their fourth straight win. Concord had a strong second half as the swiftly moved past the Bobcats. The Mountain Lions defeated West Virginia Wesleyan 73-59. 
The first half of the men's game was a shadow of the women's game. Both teams played good defense keeping the other team within reach. 
The Bobcats led by 8 points at two different points in the first half but as we have come to see the Mountain Lions refused to lay down. Concord's 12 field goals and 3 three-pointers enabled them to have a one point edge at the half. Concord led the Bobcats 33-32 at the break. 
Concord came out in the second half playing shut down defense. The Mountain Lions held Wesleyan to only 25 percent in the second half including 11 percent from behind the arc (1-9). 
The Bobcats began the half scoring the first 4 points until Concord went on an 11-0 run. The run would propel Concord and enable them to led the rest of the game. Concord shot 45 percent from the floor in the second half and 57 percent from the arc (4-7). The Mountain Lions would defeat West Virginia Wesleyan 73-59. 
Cordale Boyd led the Mountain Lions in scoring with 18 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds. Dannie Parker had another double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Rafee Smith added 12 points and 6 boards. Rustin Jesse had 10 points of his own. 
Concord (10-11, WVIAC 5-9) looked to keep their streak alive as the welcome in Salem International on Saturday, February 9th at 4:00pm.
