Johnstown, PA- The Concord Mountain Lions wrapped up their four day road trip in Johnstown, PA as they squared off with the Pitt-Johnstown Cats. Concord couldn't overcome a nine point first half deficit as they lost 79-68.
Concord had a productive first half with 11 made field goals, making 6 three-pointers, and they were perfect from the foul line. In spite of the offensive success Concord couldn't keep the Cats down.
Pitt-Johnstown shot nearly 60 percent in first half. Pitt-Johnstown hot first half shooting quickly turned into a 43-34 halftime lead.
In the second half Concord's offensive production remained consist but they still couldn't cool of the Cats shooting. Concord is still looking to get on track in WVIAC play as the Cats downed the Mountain Lions 79-68.
Five Mountain Lions ended the game in double-digits led by Anthony Lansdowne with 16 points. Rafee Smith and Cordale Boyd ended with 13 points. Dannie Parker added 11 points, while Lemond Lee had 10 of his own.
Concord (6-10, WVIAC 1-8) will be at home this Monday, January 28th as they host the University of Charleston at 7:30pm
