Steve Cox earned his 300th win, Concord earned their first win in 2008, and their first win in the WVIAC. Concord thrashed the Big Blues in the 93-72 win.
The Mountain Lions wasted no time jumping on the Big Blues in the first half. Concord shot 50% from the floor, 62% from behind the arc, and took a 16 point lead into the half at 46-30.
Concord continued to keep the pressure on in the second half as the poured in 47 more points. Concord showed their ability to score tonight and look to continue their success as they face more WVIAC opponents. Concord defeated the Big Blues 93-72.
Anthony Landsdowne led the way for the Mountain Lions with 18 points. Cordale Boyd (13), Dannie Parker (12), Rustin Jesse (10), and Rafee Smith (10) all ended the game in double-figures.
