Phillipi, WV- After beginning the season 3-0 with a perfect November, Concord dropped their first game of the season on the road against Alderson Broaddus. Concord had a strong second half but still fell to the Battlers 106-92.
The Mountain Lions couldn't stop the Battlers' red hot shooting as they shot over 70% from the floor. Concord fell down early as the halftime score was 50-35 in favor of the Battlers.
The Mountain Lions were determined to score in the second half and that is just what they did as the scored 57 second half points. However, the Batters still managed to score 56 points as they gave Concord their first lost of the season.
Cordale Boyd led Concord in scoring with 24 points on a 10-15 shooting night and he added 4 assists. Dannie Parker once again had an amazing performance with a double-double as he had 16 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Landsdowne added 19 points of his own.
Concord (3-1) will be at home this Tuesday, December 4th at 7:30pm. The Mountain Lions will be taking on the Glenville State Pioneers. The Lady Lions will be playing the game before at 5:30pm.
