Charleston, WV- The Lady Lions put their road winning streak on the line as they faced off with the Charleston Golden Eagles. Concord won the game 1-0.
The Golden Eagles fought hard and played right along with the Lady Lions but couldn't hold onto the tie as Gemma Nortcliffe notched an unassisted goal in the 83rd minute of the game. Coach
Steve Barrett said he was impressed with Charleston as they really put up a tough battle.
Concord (WVIAC 8-2-1) have been the road warriors as of recent past. They will finish out their 5 game road schedule at West Virginia Wesleyan at 3:00pm on Sunday, October 21st.
