Annesha Harris begins her second season as an assistant coach for the cross country and track and field programs at Concord.
Harris works with all aspects of both the cross country and track and field teams, but will specifically oversee the Concord hurdlers and jumpers during the indoor and outdoor track and field seasons.
The newest assistant to the program—which also includes RJ Anderson—comes to Concord after completing her collegiate career at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky. At LWC, Harris was a three-time qualifier for the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships as well as a three-time qualifier for the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Harris' best finish in the long jump during a national meet came at the 2019 NAIA Outdoor Championships as she finished 12th. Additionally, Harris was also on Lindsey Wilson's national-qualifying 4x100-meter relay team as a senior.
During her career, Harris won two conference championships as she was the individual Mid-South Conference Champion in the long jump as a senior and also won the 100-meter hurdles as a junior. Overall, Harris collected eight podium finishers at her conference championships during her collegiate career.
