Emily Wallace of the Concord University women's track & field team has been lauded All-Atlantic Region in two different events by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA). Wallace, a native of Dry Fork, Virginia, earns the nod in the 1,500-meter and 5,000-meter runs. Wallace ranked fourth in the Atlantic Region in the 5,000-meters with a time of 17:35.64 that she clocked at the Lee Flames Invite in early April. The also eclipsed Wallace's own school record. In the 1,500-meters, Wallace sported the fifth-fastest time in the event this spring. She ran 4:38.92 at Lynchburg's Hornet Open at the end of March.
