Wallace broke the program record in the 3,000-meter run at the VMI Invite Saturday afternoon. She eclipsed the previous school record by 10 seconds, clocking 10:11.74. Wallace finished sixth in the event as she was the first Division II runner to cross the tape. In the process, Wallace ran the fastest time in the Mountain East Conference this season as well as the Atlantic Region.
